The assignment description is as followed.

"With the aid of a computer, increasingly sophisticated software and the ease of creating multiple images with the simple click of a mouse, we frequently see thoughtless 'push-button' renderings where little time is spent on the message an image will tell. Far too little thought is given to the communicative power of composition, framing, mood, lighting, materials, and textures. Students become so enamored with the computational power of the software that they lose the ability to think critically about their images, and as a result, do a disservice to their design projects. The goal of this workshop was to introduce students to fundamental visual communication techniques and to allow them to demonstrate their understanding of architectural representation in order to craft beautiful, well-considered images that are both narrative and thought-provoking."
