The structure was designed as the German Pavilion for Beijing Horticultural Expo 2019 Selection
Our client needed one of the images to showcase how they managed to bring and integrate German horticultural innovation within the Expo’s main theme. One of horticulture role is to become cohesive and a naturally integrated within the space it is developed. The project illustrates this principle by blending technology, plant innovation and the pavilion itself within the Chinese scenery.
GRAPHROOT’s challenge for this specific need of focusing on the natural green integration into surroundings, was to make sure we maximize the project’s blend in with the Chinese natural scenery. The concept of presenting the otherwise high-end horticultural products in an open air beer garden was something our client designed because they wanted to engage visitors and make them explore the space and expo showcasing in a cozy manner and also experience a little of German open air surroundings. Our solution was to deliver a vertical imagery that has as a focal point the natural integration between the mountains and the Community inclusive and engaging pavilion.
