ZIGGURAT

Floreasca Residence is a residential complex on an underdeveloped property on Bucharest’s most exclusive lake. Most of the area surrounding the lake is prime property and has very high end developments, but a part of it was left unattended and it represents the passage between the city center with a strong mixed urban vibe to luxury residential real estate. Our client designed it as a more natural extension of the city cozy community engagement to the luxury residential area. From an aesthetic point of view the project was treated like a smooth and subtle transition between the rest of the city and the luxury area.

GRAPHROOT’s main challenge was delivering an imagery that would emphasize the project dual connection: it is a high-end development that encourages community engagement, rather than segregating it from the rest. Our solution was choosing an angle that emphasizes this smooth transition by showing a little of everything, but in the project’s design subtle style: Showing part of the restaurant and the resident’s communal green garden. This also served as a way to showcase how even if a restaurant was included, the residents - instead of loosing a communal green area actually gained an extra sheltered, safe and open space.
