Notes
Some of the most iconic pictures of bridges around the world have always been associated with Washington Street in Brooklyn. The Manhattan Bridge has been pictured from this perspective so many times that the DUMBO area in Brooklyn is now one of the most recognisable in the world.
At TEXEL, in an effort to improve our skill set and experiment with Quixel Mixer, we imagined what this iconic image would look if a new contemporary and controversial bridge would replace the Manhattan Bridge.
We created a scene where the new bridge would stick out despite the rough rainy weather.
The lights, the reflections, the buildings, together with the smoke from the manholes blend in a typical New York scenery.
Everything in the scene has been 3d modelled. Only the people, smoke, mist and rain were added in post-production.
