Inspiration was from the Moroccan dusk and the colour of the exterior building material. The flamingos were used as an extension of those colours as a kind of visual poetry. The Atlas mountains in the background and the story leading throughout the image.

I wanted to create an ambiguous story between the couple reflected in the light and dramatic skies.
