Mischa Portmann, 3D Artist at Crowdhouse AG in Zurich, Switzerland

I had 2,5 week from scratch to finish the project on a single Mac Pro. After building the model and creating the lights, textures and environment I rendered 1 frame of each sequence to figure out how long it would take my computer to render the whole project.
It would have taken my Mac Pro approx 5 full weeks of calculation and I realized this 3 days before the deadline. Fortunately I could use the Rebus Renderfarm which could do the job in about 8 hours over night.
The final animation was part of a marketing video to find investors (crowdfunding) for the property. With the help the video we were able to find 34 investors and raise approx 9'000'000 CHF in about 1 week.
The exterior is a compositing of 3D and drone footage, all the insides are fully 3D.
