Notes
As a long time LEGO fan, I was really excited to try and represent Santiago Calatrava's Quadracci pavilion on the Milwaukee Art Museum. With a background in architecture, I was always fascinated about the architectural language Calatrava is using. Trying to represent the beautiful curves and lines from the real building in Lego was challenging, but after some structure tests and shape studies, I arrived at my build. The rib-like complex shapes are really inspiring for me.
The animation was created to gather supporters all around the world to release it as a real Lego product. It was shared by multiple media groups, like USA Today, Milwaukee News Journal, Milwaukee Talk shows and Calatrava's studio on their website.
