Notes
My work deals with a somewhat conceptual Visualization of how architecture could have been developed within a range of technological transformations to a productive level of an emerging society, such a city in the sea.
Cities in general are generated due to the augmented forms of population spread which eventually lead to expanded infrastructure. How will cities re purpose and transform their resources to accommodate this upcoming influx of urban individuals is one major aspect to think about for the future generations.
This is a conceptual design where I developed a modular skyscraper comprised of interconnected spaceships that could be individually ejected from an accessible central shaft towards space.
Based on this scheme the idea is to visualize and construct a habitable environment for people in the year 2200. Taking structural forms and material issues into account for a new architectural approach within the city's expansive identity, this would have an impact on a life changing behavior of people, cultures and traditions. Another important factor which could have been affected is the reciprocity of goods between other cities, such as food as well as specialty equipment like weaponry and technological products.
Technological advancement would have been a significant contributor to a proactive approach for the symbiosis of people living within the skyscraper, taking into account the political conditions and the state in which cities would maintain a balance for territorial progression.
