SHIRAZ ART MUSEUM

An unrealized art museum design by Alvar Aalto to be built in the mountains of Tehran, Iran. This project was never built, but there are traces of the remaining design documents such as thumbnail sketches, a plan, and a physical massing model available for reference. This image uses the references of his design that were cataloged to recreate the design in 3D. The modeling also utilized examples of the architect's past works to fill in the design gaps not covered by the original design documents, such as materials and geometric details.
