Hi, this is a job I did for a client some time back. He needed models of signet rings with custom made etchings for 3D printing. My knowledge of 3D modelling was not enough for sculpting so it was a challenge for me, I was able to pull it off with sketchup though (the only modelling software I knew then). Recently, I had the urge to make a render like something you could see in the pages of a mag....I guess I was able to pull it off but there is more to be done.
