Notes
Milieu Property required just one view to represent a pair of exquisitely designed vertical homes, for those “wanting to reach new heights”. Set in a quiet backstreet in Collingwood, the importance of representing the local context meant contextualising the image as well as clearly visualising the unique facade material developed by DKO were key to the project's success.
AT LARGE made the decision to leave in elements traditionally removed in architectural visualisation to retain the character of the area. The parked van, graffiti, street signage, rubbish bins and power lines add up to signify the character of the street and neighborhood.
An exploration of time and lighting resulted in the creation of two renders - one during the day and the other in the evening. A final image was developed that subtlety blends the two, resulting the movement of time as the eye moves across the image.
