This is a video demonstration of the augmented reality application that brings part of the Hollywood Hills area (250,000 sq.m) to our client's desk! The LA House is a modern villa that is yet to be built in the neighborhood. To understand the spatial relationships between the new house and the existing buildings a combination of VR and AR solutions were suggested. VR would focus on interior and human-scale details while AR (this video) would give us a an intuitive tool to focus on the big-scale aspects of the project with regards to the surrounding houses, trees, lakes, roads, and potential views.

By moving and rotating the printed image (the one with colored triangles in the video) we were able to view the buildings from different vantage points simultaneously using multiple phones and tablets pointed at the same image marker on the desk.
