Notes
The film is a publicity film of a building owned by a famous real estate in Shenzhen, namely Tian’an Cyber Park-T4. This building boasts the integration of offices and business places. In China, selling building is like selling the other durable consumer goods like household appliances and automobiles. It requires advertisements to attract consumers’ attention and leave them a good impression.
This film, by employing unique visual effect, aims to attract people’s attention and display Chinese classical culture through drum in music and movements of sprinkling water. The flying water resembles someone performing Chinese calligraphy art. The film also blends with the movements of waving silk fabrics, a special Chinese dance form. The fused dance movements of ballet, modern dance and gymnastics have brought the charm combining Chinese and Western culture to the extreme.
The combination of special effect techniques, including Fluid Dynamics and Live-Action, has realized a technical breakthrough in the fluid dynamics, created a brand new visual effect and bring about a good product and brand publicity. The usage of unsaturated blue color close to the gray color of space makes the whole film clear and pure. Under the pure background, a dancer makes a series of difficult moves, jumping, rotating, and sometimes somersaulting. Her body seems to wear a water-like coat and water bursting out of her arms scatters along with her moves, forming pure and beautiful water drop in the air. The film featured by enthusiastic and dynamic tune, fresh and pure style, unique creativity as well as highly differentiated visual effects has made a breakthrough to the pattern of Chinese advertisement mainly produced by telling stories or functions.
