Notes
The Koralm railway is the extension of the Trans-European Railway. It is part of the international axis that runs from Poland and Austria to Bologna, Italy and thus connects the Baltic and Mediterranean Seas. This new railway, for instance, reduces the time between Graz and Venice by four hours.
To inform the public of such an important construction project, the ÖBB has set up four infoworlds, which comprise a wide range of exhibition objects, from the traditional poster to multi-media installations. The topics covered include technical details, visual appearance and benefits for rail passengers as well as special regional features of the construction project.
An interactive 3D installation ensures that all the content is presented in a multi-media way, thus making it readily available to all visitors. This possibility is made a reality by edddison, a hardware/software solution to make complex projects easily accessible to a broad public.
