The image was created during my ERASMUS stay at sunny Palermo Architecture School part of UNIPA. The image represents a characteristic view of my 5th year project, under the coordination of prof. Renzo Lecardane. The project reflects the design class influences coming from all my former colleagues and the teacher, though, overall, I can't identify any one particular strong influence.
The integration is done within a Google street view screen-grab, all credits for the context of the image thus falls to them.
The project was designed in the second semester of my last school year (Feb. 2014 - Jun. 2014)
Notes
The tower is a contextual response to a highway node towards the north side of EUROMED II masterplan project in Marseilles, France. The tower's use is mixed particularly between office, commerce and hotel spaces with a public terrace and restaurant at the top. The facade tessellation and extrusions are a response to wind influence and program placement.
This image is not necessarily fully representative for the architectural project, as you cannot notice the tower is actually a set of two interconnected towers, however I think, overall, this is the best image I have of my project. The emphasis on this render was on the structure of the facade, the way it subdivides and protrudes.
