This is the last installment of a 3-part series on architectural pathology and organicism. It is a building for Detroit, which must be partially destroyed in order to become accessible and useful. Through this dynamic, the building demonstrates how dilapidation is a specific kind of aesthetic that brings new notions of beauty and cultural meaning to light.
