Notes
The Y+R interactive table is a 14 screen array of 40" LED displays beneath a monolithic glass surface, all surrounding a scale model of a proposed condominium project in Toronto, Canada. At rest, the screens combine to show an abstract, dynamic representation of the surrounding city streets. When initialized by a touch, the table splits into two user areas, each comprised of 6 screens. Users explore neighbourhood amenities and attractions, and search for units based on various criteria. Floor plans are displayed on the screens and indicated by lights in the scale model, and can be compared side-by-side on the screen array.
