Abu Dhabi’s new central business district on Al Maryah Island.

Launching the first phase of Abu Dhabi’s new central business district on Al Maryah Island, our two-minute film formed part of the official opening ceremony this autumn. The dream theme was inspired by a speech made by the late Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan about his vision for the future. Combining film from the desert and the city with high-resolution graphics of the future landscape, the film follows the story of a day and an exploration of the development. The challenge was that only the first phase of the island has been built. We used projection mapping techniques to fill in the gaps which allowed us to achieve a greater realism and seamlessly blend them with reality.
