Personal work inspired by Ed Reeve's house in London

I always admired Ed Reeve's house. It is so minimalist and reliant on raw wood to achieve complexity of texture within a simple design. I wanted to pursue photorealism in the render and therefore initally matched the photographic reference I had before distantiating myself from it. Being close up to the house was a way to pay tribute to the wood material and its lovely shine in a sunny day.
