I'm Lelio Nuccio, a young guy living in Sicily, Palermo, the land of backwardness, with a bad english, a few months of experience in 3DS studying lonely, and a lot of love for CG, expecially videogames development.
I always rendered 1280x720 72dpi images, because my computer does take infinite time to render and i've just seen today your competition.. they lost a bit of quality because of rescaling to 150 dpi.. Even if it's not an high quality, i hope you look a few seconds and like them! :)
Notes
Those images were rendered for a commission, as you can see it's pretty easy to understand what was the goal.. I'm working on my father's private architecture studio, actually studying everyday animation, vfx and other intresting themes to make a show reel.. This work comes from my first month of study of 3Ds 2013, on february of the current year. Each image has been rendered with iRay in 40 minutes, with an i5 cpu and a GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphic card.. I would like to make a better, more clean and personalized visualization, and your project on web motivated me.. I had not too much time to render it because this commission had to be ready (from project to final render) in 4 days.. So i only used 10 bounces inside iRay (even if not physically correct) and still got grain.. Played a bit with photoshop to layer ambient occlusion, (previously rendered with mental ray) and adjust some colors. .
As many times happened, made those for nothing, recived no payment, the society that commissioned it just closed.. so.. It's free from watermarks and father likes if i publish it..
Now with you i try to give a sense to this work! Thanks!
Sorry for english.. :).
