This was part of a school project designed for a chandler (candle-maker) inspired by honeycomb patterns and processes of wax melting and curing. The interior of a loft was renovated and designed to accomodate a live-work environment inspired by narratives of candle making. This image is of the custom canopy above the kitchen area, providing privacy for the lofted bedroom and separating the personal areas from the work areas.
