Although many of the commissions that Porter James completes are relatively similar, we were recently asked to create a different style of image for a new type of underground drainage system. This image, although following the guidelines of a typical architectural visualisation illustration, would have to stand out from the crowd, in a very competitive industry. The idea here was to create a CGI highlighting the key elements, in situ but with no compromise on reality. As you can see, the only element that has been removed from the image is the sky, this was to ensure the client had room to annotate around the image for marketing purposes. As our ‘strap line’ states, we work with our clients and not for them, this not only works were budget is concerned, but as you can see from this example, we don’t just create images, we tailor each image specifically to your needs.
