In March 2012 Keith Mcnally, London/NY (Balthazar, Pastis, Chillers, etc) approached us to produce some restaurant concept images for this entry. The direction included base plans and architectural drawings of the pavilion along with precedents and photos showing components that needed to be visualized to convey the concept. I photographed the site, visited google street view-earth and sought after my own inspiration from online sources to model the highline, pavilion and components. I generated many previews of this from the most advantageous viewpoints but at the end only 2 were fully developed one of which has been attached.
I have been given permission to publish this but as of now the winner has not been announced.
