Christie Tyreus Architecture presents a private coastal home inspired by the timeless aesthetic of Sea Ranch — where natural textures, clean lines, and thoughtful proportions come together to create a quiet sense of luxury.

Set against Northern California’s rugged landscape, the project is currently under construction and reflects Christie’s hands-on design approach — deeply connected to site, material, and light. With future changes to the built home outside her control, visualizations serve as a clear representation of her original intent, capturing the atmosphere and detail as designed.

The architecture prioritizes calm over spectacle: natural wood, low-slung rooflines, and generous openings define a space made for living simply, but beautifully. This project is about balance — between openness and shelter, control and letting go — and about preserving design integrity, even when the final image may never be fully hers to photograph.
