Image from the winning proposal for the Aena Headquarters competition. In this composition, we intentionally explored chiaroscuro, a contrast of light and shadow that evokes the softness and layering of a watercolor painting.

The bluish, atmospheric tones wash over the scene, enhancing the tension between the organic curves of Richard Rogers’ T4 roofscape and the more grounded, deliberate geometry of the new intervention. The light breaks subtly across the horizon, creating a cinematic stillness, one that blurs the boundary between architectural visualization and fine art.

This painterly approach allows the viewer to experience the project as more than just a physical proposal; it becomes an emotional and perceptual moment suspended in time.
