“The Mist” is a visual exploration of the delicate boundary between comfort and chaos — a warm, communal interior set starkly against a dramatic cliff edge. Inspired by themes of isolation, duality, and existential contrast, this piece invites viewers to question the balance between safety and thrill, familiarity and the unknown.
The composition uses symmetry and scale to enhance the emotional weight, while the natural elements — fog, rock, flight — serve to both ground and unsettle the viewer. This was an opportunity to blend architecture with narrative, turning an imaginary space into a psychological and cinematic experience.
