This project, commissioned by a private client in Shahrekurd, Iran, represents a careful balance between client expectations and the unique challenges posed by the local climate. The design journey began with 3D modeling in Archicad, where the architectural form was meticulously crafted before being imported into 3ds Max for detailed refinement and enhancement.
The rendering phase presented a significant challenge due to Shahrekurd's predominantly humid and cloudy weather. Typically, private clients in the region prefer bright, sunny scenes with sharp contrasts and vibrant colors. However, the client's initial request for a cloudy atmosphere required a delicate approach to lighting and mood. The primary challenge was to capture the subdued tones and diffused light of a cloudy day while maintaining a sense of warmth and inviting ambiance that would resonate with the client’s vision.
Through careful manipulation of lighting and color grading, the final render successfully conveyed a mood that, while cloudy, remained optimistic and inviting. The subtle interplay of light and shadow highlights the architectural features without overwhelming the scene, striking a balance that ultimately earned the client’s approval. This outcome not only met the client’s aesthetic preferences but also showcased the potential of working with challenging weather conditions to create a visually compelling and emotionally engaging architectural visualization.
