Momo Against The Grey Men.
The project is based on its main idea of utilizing color. Not based on a range, but as a concept.
Color becomes perceived as an idea of happiness, of life, humanity, and of enjoying time.
A subway station segment seemed to me the ideal setting to represent this idea of the time slipping away from us, the motion, and the lack of feelings that this constant coming and going causes us. A “non-place” where we are anonymous, a space devoid of emotional and identity significance where we manage to dehumanize ourselves.
Paradoxically, Momo, full of color, is the one who wants to remind us of what we must not lose, while we avoid becoming the new grey men with our office suits.
Momo brings us color, nature, feelings, and the time we have lost.
