I thought a lot about the meaning of the word 'tension'. I consulted the dictionary and saw all its meanings and aspects related to the term. But all you had to do was close your eyes and let your mind go. And so, I saw it. Standing there, staring straight ahead at the camera. The tension waspalpable in his eyes. And beneath him the
void. The moment before a competition is often a source of both physical and mental tension. It's understandable: hours and hours of sacrifice, continuous training without stopping. All factors that affect performance.
I wanted to play a lot with light and dark. While the light stroke the dreamer, the architecture of Santiago Calatrava stands out behind him and acts as a stage. The moment of strong tension is represented by the storm and the void beneath him. The void represents everything that awaits him if he has the courage to take this leap. And he has it.
