Notes
This work recreates and reproduces the exhibition project for the showroom created in 1959 in Paris by the architect Franco Albini, commissioned by the iconic Olivetti brand.
The still-images created are the result of a search for sources and of a philological reconstruction of reality, in a project that aims to investigate a lost architectural space of the past. This operation highlights the potential of virtual locations as a tool for disseminating and recovering cultural heritage at the same time.
The image aims to place the designer’s poetics of the space at the center, composing a no filter location where the eyes get lost among the flexible, modular, light display elements. It is an invitation for visitor to reflect on the dignity of the industrial work of art.
