This project revolved around a building that employed mirrored surfaces to seamlessly blend into its natural surroundings, shying away from attention and allowing nature to take center stage. A concept similarly developed by Snohetta's project, illustrated here:

In our pursuit of this idea, we drew inspiration from Tham & Videgard's "Mirror Cube" project, particularly in how it emphasized not just rendering the building invisible but merging its reflection with the background, creating a captivating visual puzzle: https://images.divisare.com//images/c_limit,f_auto,h_2000,q_auto,w_3000/v1/project_images/3503774/8304_001/tham-videgard-peter-lundstrom-ake-e-son-lindman-the-mirrorcube.jpg
As we crafted the image further, we recognized the need for a foreground element to balance the composition and to represent the natural rocks in the location. In this context, we drew inspiration from this beautiful image from Arrhov Frick House, that uses this natural foreground elements perfectly: https://images.adsttc.com/media/images/57f4/32d6/e58e/ceca/7b00/0184/slideshow/Arrhov_Frick__Viggso%E2%88%8FMikaelOlsson_2860b.jpg?1475621582
