Notes
The project , presented here, aims to investigate and prefigure, through computer-generated images, a virtual space for a specific design area: level and character design.
The goal is to transpose into the virtual space some of the characteristics of surrealist language, focusing on abstract and figurative categories, dreamlike and illusionistic.
The design process involves sketching and ideation, as well as constant study of surrealist paintings, and then three-dimensional construction of scenarios that are conceived as progressive worlds within a video game.
The image that was submitted for the competition depicts one of the characters and landscapes that were developed, which is the queen of the ice world and her kingdom.
