Notes
This image is part of our studio's passion project. It reflects our aim to take our storytelling beyond the typical commissioned archviz images. We found our story shifting the perspective. Instead of simulating architectural photography, we embraced the role of photojournalists, capturing the stories that reflect issues affecting our society and environment.
In this particular image, we aimed to address the issues of plastic pollution and climate change caused by humans. Ironically, those who bear the least responsibility for these problems often suffer the most severe consequences. In this portrayal, the architecture symbolizes our collective indifference and unwillingness to take action. The architecture points towards the issue: the turtle. The shared colors of the sea and the architecture signify that even if we refuse to acknowledge it as a problem, it will still affect us.
