The design brief called for a conceptual render of a residential block in Kuwait, consisting of apartment blocks and townhouses, with a central communal area for residents. Emphasizing the region's hot arid climate, the design aimed to provide comfort and respite from extreme weather while prioritizing the use of local materials to celebrate Kuwait's cultural identity and promote sustainability. The challenge was to create a striking image that harmoniously integrated community-centric living, climate adaptation, and cultural authenticity into a vision of modernity and sustainability for future residents, bridging architecture with environment and culture.
