The client - for a lot of trust and hands-off support
Notes
There's a greater strategy to how this film is going to be used in the marketing of the project - this is the teaser, which follows a traditional format of 'architecture, lobby, amenities, residences, brand story' - but does so as a true teaser, only gesturing to detail, quality & craftsmanship. This is intended to really tap into curiosity, rather than over-pushing with traditional marketing materials.
We should have rolled out the social media campaign using clips from this film by the time this submission is being reviewed.

Sources of Inspiration and References
We very intentionally didn't reference or pull ideas from existing projects while making this.
We were inspired to do something different mostly due to the design package of information - the interior design team put together lots of incredible textures, great forms and details, and all of those informed our decisions. Everything in their design package suggested something in motion, within all of their intended static design we could see forms locking together and twisting, fantastic opportunities for movement and details, and that gave us the idea of pitching this to the client and the confidence it would land. Once they approved it, we built scenes and tried to find moments - some more obvious that others. We threw many ideas at the wall to start with, and had over 50 rough scenes and experiments that we tested in an edit in some form that never made the final cut.
