Wawasan, A Vision of Tomorrow
.
'Wawasan(means vision in Malay) 2020', an ideology widely propagated during the 1990s in Malaysia by the ex Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad as an effort to project a 30 year futuristic vision of the country to the people. 2020 arrived last year, and of course, unfortunate circumstances aside, we are way behind of what was intended originally( flying cars, utopian city with megastructures all over the places).

This is a piece that I've made specifically for the 24 hours of Chaos presentation, in hopes to inspire some while providing the public with a glimpse of what the future city of Kuala Lumpur in year 2040 would look like, through the lens of my art.
