Notes

In this image I wanted to portrait the concept of a "turning point".
I represented such concept with an image of a person looking forwards and walking through some sort of arc (the turning point itself).
The person is walking along a path in the middle of nature, not knowing where it may lead but with the expectations of a happier and brighter future on the horizon.
From a personal point of view, the turning point, was the decision I took of leaving my job as a project architect to pursue a career in ArchViz which has always been my true passion. I think almost everyone can relate to the idea of having a turning point during the past year and the need of walking towards a better future following one's wishes.

Oficina 3d Training - Mentoria Ander Alencar (Oficina 3d Academy)

Sources of Inspiration and References

I created this image as part of a monthly contest organized by my school, Oficina 3d Training. Our teacher, Ander Alencar, organizes a contest every month for his students to help us enhance and improve our skills with a new and different topic each month. This particular task consisted of creating an image using a real photo as the main source of inspiration (and adding, of course, our own artistic input to it) - Therefore, the picture I selected was a photo taken by a friend of mine during her holidays in the province of Corrientes, Argentina. The person that I inserted in the 3d image is my best friend since childhood. So for me, it has an added emotional value.
