Corona

The workflow that I used to create the image is based, as usual in our jobs, on references and inspirations. The project commissioned by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group was an Opera House in Shenzen, China, placed on the coast of the city. So the main source of inspiration was given by the Sidney Opera House by Utzon that had a similar position compared with the one of our project and the same funcion. I wanted to achieve a dramatic feeling with the opera rising from the fog and mist of a sunset as a new landmark for the city. For the colorpalette I took inspiration mainly from photographies of sunsets in China to get a tone and mood that could look possible and coherent with the place.
