Elena V Miller
From as long as she can remember, Elena has loved to draw and so pursuing a creative profession came naturally to her. After attending art school from the age of eleven she continued her artistic education up to obtaining a bachelor's degree from the University of Visual Arts in Bucharest, Romania.
Elena worked in many creative roles across the marketing, broadcast and publishing sectors, including illustrating for national newspapers and working her way up to an art director position in the editorial field. Her first encounter with 3D (at the end of 90s) was disappointing from an aesthetic point of view, then 10 years later, 3D tools and software reached a state where Elena felt that they were the right way to express herself and from this point onwards, all she wanted was to become a 3D artist.
In 2011, Elena took a leap of faith to leave Romania to attend a Masters course in Illustration and Animation at Coventry University in the United Kingdom. After graduating with distinction, she restarted her career and focused on learning more about the 3D tools and software that she had encountered during her studies.
From that point on, she has devoted her time to learning, practising and constantly improving her skills and has worked for studios specialising in architectural visualisation, automotive events and marketing. In 2015, after setting up her own creative studio based in Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom, EVNvis, her work started receiving awards and being featured in international publications and websites.
Characterised by ups, downs, changes of direction and a constant drive to test her limits, Elena’s career has been a continual search to find the right tools and client projects to express herself and reach her full potential. She doesn’t know whether she will ever find that perfect combination but she won’t stop exploring.
