The project is located in Qingdao, China, a new zoo sited on an undeveloped parcel of land and adjacent to a new recreational lake. The site encompasses 588 acres that will house animals from around the world in outdoor exhibits and indoor simulated habitats during the winter months. Multiple aquatic show amphitheaters for marine mammal demonstrations are included in the overall design.
