I this illustration I've tried to rethink the aesthetics of a dam. When do we really think of a dam as a building, that can be designed by architects, can reflect some particular architectural style. That what made me create "a building that holds the water".
As an inspiration, I used classical Australian landscape painters to reflect warms and softness of the light in the environment of the Australian forest.
