A rapid-fire project commenced and finalised in 2 weeks; Victoria Park represented a challenging opportunity for our 3D artist. Taking advantage of the undulating landform of Victoria Park, The Brisbane Rock Pools was conceived as an exciting parkland idea which re-introduces a chain-of-ponds that was once present where the Inner City Bypass is today and re-imagines a sub-tropical rock pool setting as a dynamic playscape for families and people of all ages to enjoy.

As the project was conceptual in nature, it required the development of a complex 3D scene using only a top-down sketch and aspirational character imagery. Drawing inspiration from our regional landscape character, our 3D artist was able to interpret the direction of our in-house landscape architects to create a vibrant and engaging vision of the early concept design that captured the imaginations of the Brisbane community.
