All work by Adam B. Hockley. The following software was used. Autodesk Revit 2011, Autodesk 3D Studio Max Design 2011, Autodesk Design Review 2011, Unity 3D, Vray 1.5 , Imagemodeler 2009.
Notes
This was an attempt to bridge the BIM gap. We took an information rich project in Revit and I exported the file into 3DS Max and performed the texture baking process. After it was texture baked, the model was imported into an existing modeled site done through Image Modeler. The Texture baked model was exported as .dwf and brought into Autodesk Design Review where we were able to freely navigate. The model was then brought into the free Unity utility via .fbx file and again, were able to navigate the model with physics.
